Brains at school
By Demi & KeelyOn Thursday 11 August the Years 2, 3 & 4 Integrated Studies class went to the science room and looked a sheep brains, which we got from the butchers. . We have been learning about the skull and bones in the body. At the science room we put on coats and goggles. Each table was given some brains on a tray. We looked at the nerves in the brain and the grey matter which we use to think with. We also talked a little about how the right side controls the left side and vice versa. Demi and Amara got to flip the brains first . The brain felt really cold and felt like jelly. We really liked the day. It was fun. Thank you Chalmers Butchers for donating the brains.
